Description
Samujana on Koh Samui is the perfect haven for those looking to get away from it all and enjoy peace and tranquillity from the privacy of your own stunning villa. This is a villa resort experience with a difference...
Samujana consists of 27 beautiful villas, each of which is different in terms of design and facilities. Villas start from three bedrooms, but go up a huge eight bedrooms - perfect for anyone planning a big family holiday or special occasion.
Each Villa is truly luxurious. The design is clean and modern, but each has its own style and layout. Some of the villas come with their own gym and private cinema, and all boast beautiful open-plan living areas and gorgeous, large private infinity pools.
The villas are located on a hillside. Those lower down have quicker access to the beach and tennis courts, whilst those higher up the hill have the best views. Once you get towards the top of the hill, there are phenomenal panoramic views over the ocean and the island.
Samujana does not have any restaurants. Instead guests can order room service, have a chef cook for them in their villa, or head out to the local restaurants nearby. It is also possible to order ingredients and cook for yourself. This makes it a great choice for those who do not like to feel too trapped in a resort. It is also possible to dine at the hotel next door and have any meals or drinks added to your villa bill, which is a great added convenience.
Whilst Samujana does have a beach, like a lot of resorts on Koh Samui it is a bit rocky and fairly small, although there is a reef where it is possible to snorkel. However the resort is only 10-minutes by car from some of the island's nice public beaches, or it is possible to organise private VIP beach days at some of Koh Samui's other luxury resorts.
One of the many standout points of Samujana is the service. Villa guests can choose the type of service they prefer, be this super-attentive, with someone on hand throughout the day, or more discreet with staff only appearing when needed.
Samujana is an amazing option for a couple or family looking for something different to a typical resort. The villas offer a huge amount of privacy and a wonderfully personalised experience. This is exclusivity at its best.
Accommodation
Samujana is made up of 27 villas varying in size from 3 to 8 bedrooms. Each villa offers unparalleled views and all the modern conveniences you could wish for. Expect spacious living and dining areas, modern kitchens and large private infinity pools.
Childcare
Villa holidays are often the perfect alternative to staying in a hotel, especially when travelling with your family. Most of the villas can cater for families with both younger and older children. Speak to your travel consultant to find out which villa would suit your family best.
Facilities
Enjoy a villa breakfast at Samujana which consists of a mix of continental delights and local delicacies. For lunch and dinner book a private Thai chef who will prepare delicious local cuisine in the comfort of your villa. Alternatively staff can do the shopping for you and you can enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen.
Activities
There is plenty to do at Samujana. From tennis courts, fully equipped gyms and even private cinemas in selected villas, there's endless things to keep you entertained. With direct access to the beach, spend the day by the sea or enjoy the landscaped gardens from the privacy of your own villa.
It is also possible to organise day trips to some of the sites on the island, or do private Muay Thai or yoga classes in the resort. For those looking for ultimate pampering, massages can be arranged in your villa.

Samujana is perfect for ultimate relaxation and privacy. Your private villa comes with your own butler, who will be happy to assist with any request you may have. Many of the villas also boast panoramic views of the island. Wake up in awe as you take a dip in your own salt water infinity pool perched over the hillside for that 'pinch yourself' moment you will never forget.

Heaven! That was my first thought on arriving at Samujana. When I stepped into my villa, it was one of the very few times I have been left speechless by a hotel.
The villas really do have the most incredible sense of luxury. The open plan living areas give a real sense of space and the views are stunning. Thailand, and the islands like Koh Samui in particular, can feel very crowded, but when you are lying by your private pool at Samujana, it is wonderfully peaceful.
I did wonder how it would feel having no restaurant, but actually I really enjoyed the freedom this provided. The room service menu is very varied, and the food is delicious. There is also a great choice of options for breakfast, and having this served in your villa rather than walking to a restaurant felt very indulgent!
So much of your stay at Samujana is about personalisation. You can have your own private chef who can prepare delightful dishes tailored to your requirements and tastebuds. You can also decide on the type of service you prefer, and organise things like private yoga or Thai boxing classes. The possibilities are endless - if you want it, Samujana can make it happen!
