Reni Pani Jungle Lodge is ideally located for access to Satpura National Park. It is a comfortable luxury lodge which includes a ‘Gol Ghar’ or meeting place, made up of an open plan dining area, a bar, a library, a gift shop and a lounge.
The swimming pool is located near the Gol Ghar. There are many communal outside dining and social areas set around fire pits and attractively illuminated by candle light, there’s even including a large outdoor screen for viewing nature documentaries.
The lodge’s 12 cottages are located over three different terrains so there is a choice of environment, lowlands near the stream, hilltop for views and forest for privacy: the cottages are spacious with viewing decks, large lounging bay-windows and either inside or outside bathrooms. The property also boasts 4 air-conditioned tents. The tents are located near a lake which is frequented by many different animals.
Satpura National park is easily accessible from Reni Pani a 30-minute drive to the Tawa Reservoir, and a short boatride across. The different safari options allow guests to experience the diversity of the park by jeep, boat and on foot. Satpura Under Canvas is an overnight camping program which functions on a two night, three day basis, but can also be tailored to suit guests wanting to experience camping in the park for just one night.
When to visit
The Hilltop Cottage has the best views of the Satpura Range, well worth the steep 10minute walk from the central communal area of the lodge.
