There are four main room types, Classic, Superior, Junior Suites and Suites.

With the Classic Rooms, each room is unique, but all have a romantic and intimate setting, with velvet, wrought iron and woodwork, perfectly combining antique furniture with contemporary finishing touches. The Superior rooms are larger and are again unique right down to the smallest detail and decorated in dazzling tones. They boast panelled ceilings, hundred-year-old woodwork, heavy curtains, imposing mirrors and furniture of either contemporary Le Corbusier, or Mackintosh style, with some Renaissance influences. The rooms are tranquil and overlook the interior courtyard. The Junior Suites are wonderful and the artist Hervé Thibaut has transformed these rooms, suites and apartments into living pieces of art, each one different from the next. Some take their inspiration from Italian opera boxes with embroidered silk and painted panels representing Venetian landscapes. Others with images from an artist's workshop or photographer's studio from the early 20th century. Finally the Suites and their magnificent feeling of space with 65 m² of luxurious living. With king size bedrooms, a living room and luxurious bathrooms which are a living space of beauty. With original ceilings and objects d'art, they are gorgeous examples of the hotel's attention to detail.

The bathroom transforms into a remarkable contrast between period style and design.

Les Loges

Imagine a Florentine courtyard with a marble floor and a spectacular contemporary glass and steel ceiling. This is the breathtaking surroundings in which Anthony Bonnet, GaultMillau d'Or 2007 "Talented Young Chef" and now awarded a star by the 2012 Michelin Guide, officiates.

In the restaurant Les Loges, the chef and his team offer a refined gastronomic cuisine combining tradition and imagination. Throughout the seasons, they create a menu of unequalled produce and quality.

The Café-Épicerie owes its name to the history of Vieux-Lyon and the fact that it found itself on the very crossroads of the 16th century spice industry.

A long, steel bar guides the visitor to the entrance of the Café-Épicerie and its refined and contemporary setting: vaulted ceiling, dark parquet floor, stone walls and tapestries made from Lyon silk... On the menu in this elegant café, Anthony Bonnet has created a menu concentrating on the freshest ingredients with a light and creative menu. The menu highlights the presence of spices, aromatic oils and aromas.

As soon as the weather allows, specialty dishes can be enjoyed on the shaded terrace. To continue the journey along the Spice Route, products selected by the chef are sold at the delicatessen: fragrant oils, vinegars, condiments, unusual salts and peppers, wines.

Or maybe try brunch in the heart of the largest Renaissance courtyard in Lyon, as brunch at Cour des Loges is a veritable institution or just a cocktail in their Bar.

You can take yourself or your children off on a fascinating Segway tour or in the summer try a private yacht cruise to a little restaurant on the Saône. Visit The Fine Arts Museum (Musée des Beaux Arts) and its lovely inner courtyard; The Silk Museum (Musée de la soierie); The Museum of Contemporary Art (Musée d’Art Contemporain); The Museum of the City and Museum of Miniatures (Musée de la Ville et Musée des Miniatures), a stone's throw from Cour des Loges AWalking through the Presqu'îlev: This is the city centre where you will find many of Lyons famous eateries, government, and cultural establishments. Take a walk through the picturesque Rue Merciere. See the many churches and museums of the area. Also, visit the Celestines Theatre and the Grand Theatre, two of Lyons main cultural centres.

Eating till you burst: How can one miss the food in the epicurean capital of France? The city abounds with Michelin-starred restaurants, including its famous inhabitant Paul Bocuse who introduced nouvelle cuisine. You must visit the famous bouchons of Lyons where its culinary fame started.
