Winter (December - April). The winter temperatures can vary anywhere between 0°C and -40°C. The average temperature in January is -14°C, but the cold is not biting because the air is dry. There can be as much as one meter of snow and it usually lasts until May. There is potential for Northern Lights viewing throughout the winter months.

Days 1-4: Finnish Lapland
We recommend staying in one of our enchanting Christmas Chalets, where a private chef is on hand to serve up steaming plates of fresh food to warm your senses after a day frolicking in the snow. We will even provide winter outdoor clothing, so you don't have to worry about room in your luggage.
Over the next few days all your winter wonderland dreams will come true as you and your family meander through the forest on reindeer sleighs, speed off of snowmobiles in search of the Northern lights and accept a special invite to Santa’s house. You'll also enjoy quiet moments cosying up next to the roaring log fire to watch the fluttering snowflakes fall as the children learn how to make gingerbread houses and Christmas decorations.
We will take you to a husky farm where you will learn how to drive a sled lead by your energetic and excitable companions. Then, as a family, set off at speed either warm and cosy under a reindeer blanket on the sleigh, or our older guests can choose to feel the wind in their hair as they take the helm to drive the troupe themselves.
After a hearty lunch prepared by your expert private chef it is time for your next adventure, this time on a snowmobile. Explore your way deep in to the wilderness, meandering through enchanting forests and hurtling across a frozen lake. This is an adventure sure to satisfy any thrill-seeker and we also have mini-skidoos available for younger children, so they can sample the thrill of driving for themselves.
After a restful evening in your authentic cabin enjoying a meal prepared by your chef, tailored to your tastes, you will be ready for another full day of activities. Today you will meet Father Christmas’ most trusted companions; his reindeer. Could it really be Dasher or Dancer, Prancer or Vixen? Tucked up on a sleigh pulled by your reindeer you’ll set off for a ride you will never forget to a destination few have the chance to visit- Santa’s house. We will create a memorable, personal experience for the whole family, with a few surprises along the way and an unforgettable encounter for believers of all ages.
In between excursions you can choose what you’d like to do, and our professional host is on hand to take you out tobogganing, ice fishing or snowshoeing. Otherwise you may choose to relax in your wooden chalet or visit the local town.
As night falls your private guide will escort you out once again by snowmobiles, this time in search of another magical wonder of Lapland; The Northern Lights. We will take you away from light pollution to a secluded area, with just your family around, to give you the best chance to view this incredible spectacle.
On your final day you may have time for more activities before you are privately transferred back to the airport, full of wonderful memories.
