Unfortunately, Heritage Villa Apolon has closed for 2019 in order to carry out extensive renovations. They plan to re-open for the 2020 season.

The coldest months of the year on average are January and February, during which time the daytime highs will be around 12°C. Heritage Villa Apolon is situated in Stari Grad town, on Hvar island. A charming, boutique hotel with just a handful of rooms, this is a lovely location for a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of Hvar town.
Heritage Villa Apolon sits right by the waterfront in Stari Grad. Just a short walk along the waterfront takes you to the heart of the town, and its delightful bars and restaurants. A peaceful, friendly town, Stari Grad is the perfect, tranquil alternative to the busier Hvar town. The 19th century villa is a beautiful Mediterranean building, easily accessed both by public ferry from Split, or by private boat which can be docked in front of the hotel.
Named for Greek god Apollo, Villa Apolon's traditional Mediterranean architecture is complemented by the classic interior design, with a contemporary twist. Rooms are spacious, and the majority offer fantastic views across the marina and out to sea. For families, the Apolon loft suite is the perfect choice, providing privacy and quality time together. On arrival at Villa Apolon, guests will be welcomed with warm, friendly service in true Croatian style.
The small, convivial restaurant Apolon offers modern Mediterranean dishes, using fresh, local produce. The delicious meals are paired with a range of local and international wines, which can also be tasted in the hotel's own wine cellar. There are just a handful of rooms and junior suites at Heritage Villa Apolon, each uniquely decorated and well-appointed. The majority of rooms offer sea views. All rooms are bright and airy, and each provides amenities such as satellite televisions, WiFi and underfloor heating in bathrooms. Each room is named for one of Apollo's muses, the patrons of arts and science.
Measuring 36 sqm, Euterpe is a spacious room offering lovely sea views. The modern bathroom features a free-standing bathtub, and the room's design is classic yet contemporary.
Clio is a double room measuring 36 sqm. The room is spacious and comfortable, and thanks to the muted palette remains bright and airy.
Urania measures 46 sqm, and features a comfortable, spacious seating area. It offers sea views, and has unique touches such as the exposed-brick wall niches.
At 46 sqm, Calliope is a large room with views across the water. The décor is contemporary and the rooms contains a comfortable sitting area.
With a sea view and an area of 48 sqm, Erato offers ample space for a comfortable stay. Large windows allow for natural light to fill this bright room.
Apolon is a deluxe suite occupying the entirety of the 117 sqm loft. A large, open-plan space with sea views, there is a large king-size bed with the option to add two extra single beds. A modern suite, Apolon offers added privacy with its own living area, dining area and mini kitchen.
Heritage Villa Apolon welcomes children, however there are no specific childcare facilities. The Deluxe Suite Apolon is ideal for families, as it houses a king bed, and can take two additional single beds.
Restaurant Apolon serves a variety of contemporary Mediterranean dishes, using the freshest local produce. The welcoming colours and Mediterranean design of the restaurant mirrors the fare, and guests can also eat outside in the garden terrace, enjoying the warm summer evenings. The wine bar offers a collection of local and international wines, including the best Hvar wines and brandies.

How to get there
Hvar island is about one to one-and-a-half hours from Split by private boat or public ferry. Public ferries dock just a five-minute drive from Stari Grad.
Croatian Airlines flies direct from London to Split, with a flight time of approximately 2.5 hours. The low cost carriers such as Monarch, Easyjet and Thomson also have a seasonal service from London, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.
