The owners are often there and they are so welcoming and friendly it really did feel like a home away from home. The property is very peaceful and homely, and the breakfast was delicious! The rooms are quite simple but perfectly comfortable and, while they keep the traditional and colonial characteristics, they also have all necessary mod-cons. While it is the most luxurious property in the area, the bathrooms are quite basic. This was the perfect place to base myself for exploring Villa de Leyva.
