With only 11 chalets and cabins, guests are ensured a personalised experience and in a stunning location. A stay at Tweedsmuir is all about the environment, whether you are a keen angler, love to hike in the wilderness, along mountain ridges or along river banks or if your simple wish is to get up close (but not too close) to the majestic grizzly bear, it is all here.
Just an hours flight from Vancouver brings guests into this magical spot. Days can be filled with exciting activities and evenings enjoying sumptuous freshly prepared meals whilst discussing the new experiences of the day and what is yet to come the next day. All meals are included in guests stay and are internationally inspired with a West Coast twist. These are beautifully complimented by a fine wine cellar with a focus on some of the best New World wines from British Columbia's vineyards.
The lodge is perfect for couples and families alike and is an ideal environment for older children in particular. The chalets lend themselves to family groups and there are one or two cabins which are perfect for a romantic escape just for two as well.
The guides and staff at the lodge are what really makes the guest stay. They are knowledgeable and enthusiastic and are there to ensure guests have the best possible experience, learn something new and go away with unforgettable memories. Choose from group tours or personalised guiding for an experienced just for you and your family. Sore high above the mountains by helicopter or drift along a river silently in one of the lodge's McKenzie drift boats, the perfect way to view wildlife safely.

Tweedsmuir is best known for it's outstanding Grizzly Bear Viewing and during the months of September and October the easy of viewing makes the lodge one of the best places to head to. Viewing is all by drift boat ensuring minimal impact on the bears and a fantastic experience for the guests.

Fishing
The Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is located in Bella Coola, British Columbia within the pristine wilderness of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park.
9 hour direct flight from London to Vancouver followed by a 1 hour flight to Bella Coola and 45 minute transfer to the lodge. The lodge can also be accessed by road as part of a self drive itinerary or by ferry from Port Hardy once a week during the peak summer months.

Day 1 - Farewell Harbour Lodge
On your first day at Farewell Harbour, you'll arrive at the lodge by water taxi from Alder Bay. After a welcome orientation and lunch, you'll head off by boat in search of marine wildlife on the Johnson Strait.
