Best time to Visit

Good time to visit

Average time to visit

Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is open from June to October each year. Grizzly Bear season is from 01 September to 14 October, this is by far the best time to see grizzly bears, other bears may be seen during other times.

The weather in this area of British Columbia is generally warm throughout the season, however, due to the mountainous nature of this part of British Columbia, conditions can change rapidly and rain, wind and even snow can occur at any time. We suggest guests dress in layers and pack for cool and warm conditions. Waterproofs are essential.
