BC’s varied climate is influenced by latitude, elevation and ocean proximity but it’s generally warmer in the south and cooler in the north. Winters are mild in Vancouver and Victoria, with only brief snowfalls, while other regions – especially the north and the interior – are subject to freezing temperatures and heavy snow from November to March.
Spring and fall are often warm and pleasant but rainfall can be heavy, particularly on the coast. Summers (June to September) are mostly dry and sunny with warm temperatures, but the interior is hot in July and August, with temperatures surpassing 30°C

Description
Echo Valley Ranch offers a fusion of guest ranch, adventure lodge and luxury wellness retreat in the heart of Canada's "cowboy country". Usually adult only, during July and August they also welcome families looking for a comfortable ranch experience.

Meals are enjoyed family style with an open kitchen and buzzing social feel. Varied cuisine is served, everything from an old fashioned ranch barbecue through to traditional Thai nights. Try and sit up at the kitchen counter and be wowed by the Master Chef's cooking demonstrations, tips and tasters. Cooking lessons can also be arranged by request.
Although adult only and orientated for most of the year, during July and August children are welcomed at the ranch and activities are planned to keep them happy and occupied whilst learning all about the ranch experience ensuring that parents have an opportunity to take advantage of some of the activities on offer too. Reviews
Lucie Polwin (Staff)
Echo Valley Ranch is a great stop for 3 or 4 nights for anyone who wants a mixture of relaxation and adventure. Whilst not your typical ranch, it has a charming Thai twist and lots of activities on offer as well as a great spa, making it a unique ranch experience. It is surrounded by stunning forests and only has a small number of rooms and cabins so still maintains an exclusive and peaceful feel even when fully booked.
