One of Lech’s finest properties, Chalet 1597 has been beautifully updated to retain many of the property’s original features, including the traditional stone wine cave. Adorned with thoughtfully curated antique pieces, fine furnishings and exquisite fabrics, the chalet makes a sophisticated and chic base from which to enjoy alpine living. Guests will love the cosy wood-panelled living room with traditional Tyrolean stube, dining room with warming fireplace, and sunny terrace, a lovely spot to watch the sunset across the mountains.
The ground floor is home to a cinema room, steam room, relaxation area, ski and boot room, and separate WC, while the wine cellar and bar can be found on the lower ground floor. Wi-Fi is available throughout and there is garage parking for one car, with a further two parking spaces outside. There a daily housekeeping and a concierge service both prior to arrival and throughout their stay, to ensure all requirements and wishes are met.
The property sleeps up to 12 guests in five spacious ensuite bedrooms. There are two master ensuites, one of which includes a private drawing room and large bathroom with freestanding rolltop bath and separate shower. The four remaining ensuite bedrooms are on the first floor and include the second master with dressing room and ensuite shower room and a children’s room with four separate beds, TV and shower room. Robes, slippers, hairdryers, premium bathing amenities and a mid-week towel change are all included. The first floor also boasts a games area and second living room, so there is plenty of space to spread out.
Chalet 1597 can be booked on a self-catered or catered basis. Catered bookings include daily breakfast, afternoon tea, pre-dinner canapés and champagne, early children’s supper, and four-course dinners served on 6 nights out of 7. Guests enjoy complimentary house wines, beer, soft drinks and drinks tray with three bottles of house spirits. Additional benefits for catered guests include a dedicated driver during pre-arranged times, and for winter bookings, complimentary ski instructor for the first two days.
