Day 6 - Cradle Mountain Huts Walk: Windy Ridge Hut – Lake St Claire

Today’s walk is the shortest in duration but arguably the most scenic. Your destination today is Lake St Claire, a natural glacier-carved lake known as one of Australia’s deepest.
Pass by flowering sclerophyll forests with native birdsong as accompaniment as you head to wards the northern end of Lake St Clair in time for lunch.
After your final gourmet packed lunch its time to rest those weary legs and enjoy a scenic 17km cruise back across Lake St Claire to Cynthia Bay. Pass by the track you have just walked and revel in your accomplishment as you take in the never-ending scenery of Lake St Clare.
