Highlights
Looking out over the pristine sands of Smiths Beach, Smiths Beach Resort is an architecturally stylish, modern complex in the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. The self-catering accommodation is accompanied by a restaurant, gourmet deli and in-room dining, while sumptuous hampers and Masterclass sessions with the chef can be arranged to provide the tools you need to whip up delicious dishes in your own apartment.
From cosy Beach Shacks to a four-bedroom Beach House, the accommodation is simple yet elegant, with a light, fresh decor that draws inspiration from the neutral tones of the surrounds and allows the beautiful landscape of the beach and the ocean to take centre-stage. With separate living areas, well-equipped kitchens, laundry facilities and all linens, towels and bath amenities, the Beach Shacks, Apartments, Villas and Houses offer a home-from-home in spectacular surrounds. While there is no daily cleaning or housekeeping service this can be arranged for an additional cost.
Despite offering self-contained accommodation, Smiths Beach Resort also boasts many of the amenities you would expect of an upmarket hotel, including a tennis court, infinity pool and children’s wading pool. The onsite Lamont Restaurant showcases the fresh, local ingredients of Margaret River in delicious seasonal dishes such as Cone Bay Barramundi, Half Shell Abrolhos Island Scallops and Wagyu Bresaola, all accompanied by exquisite local wines.
From Smiths Beach Resort the coastline and rolling countryside of Margaret River unfold, with the wildlife, landscapes, gourmet experiences and high-octane activity that the region excels in. Walk the Cape to Cape Track, horseback ride along deserted trails, abseil down soaring sea cliffs or explore the wineries and food producers of this gourmet paradise.
