Sipan Museum, Tucume and Huaca Rajada

Your first stop is the Valley of Pyramids in Tucume. Twenty-six enormous pyramids lie in the grounds of am ancient citadel, which served as the last capital of the Lambayeque kingdom. Visit the Royal Tombs Museum, where some of Peru's rarest and most fascinating artifacts can be found. The Moche civilization who ruled northern Peru were renowned for their richly embellished tombs, mummies and pyramids. After lunch, your tour ends in Huaca Rajada, where the tomb of Lord of Sipan was discovered back in 1987.
