Gualaceo Valley & Chordeleg

Drive through the scenic Santa Ana valley to the small town of San Bartolome, where guitars are handmade and finished locally, before making your way to Chordeleg. The charming town of Chordeleg is famed for its gold and silver jewelry and bright yellow pottery. From here you will head to Gualaceo which hosts its renowned Sunday market offering a selection of local products, household goods, animals and leather shoes.
Lunch will be provided at a country inn set within picturesque gardens and close to the Santa Barbara river which is lined with weeping willows. Before returning to Cuenca you will be taken to an orchid garden, home to over 2,500 species, before admiring the shawls and scarves which are woven in Bulcay, your final stop.
