Exuding an air of understated elegance, the Mont Cervin Palace is one of the historic hotels of Zermatt. The excellent facilities and discreet service ensure its place among The Leading Hotels of the World is well deserved. The hotel has a great choice of rooms, suites and apartments within 4 inter-connected sets of accommodation, making it particularly appealing for families. The Mont Cervin Palace hotel and the connected Villa Margherita have rooms with an elegant alpine style, the Residence has roomy family apartments and Le Petit Cervin has cosy, wooden chalet style rooms. Varying in style from rustic to modern, much of the accommodation enjoys stunning views of the Matterhorn.
On arrival in Zermatt, you will be met at the station and transferred in style via horse and carriage or electric taxi as Zermatt is a car-free village.
The fine international cuisine in Le Restaurant is complemented by an impressive choice of wines from the wine cellar (gentlemen are required to wear jackets) or, for a more informal atmosphere, choose market-fresh produce and delicious fish dishes in Le Grill Cervin. The hotel also offers a fabulous 'dine around' system with its sister hotels, allowing guests on half board to dine at 12 different restaurants around the resort.
For relaxation, soothe tired limbs in the stylish spa, with its heated indoor and outdoor pools, two whirlpools, Finnish sauna, steambaths, ice-grotto and relaxation room, or enjoy a muscle-relaxing massage in the beauty salon.
Children are well catered for with the 'Mini Cervin' playroom, children's pool and a children’s dinner menu served at 6pm. Babysitting and baby equipment such as cots, baby monitors and bottle warmers available upon request.
The Mont Cervin is perfectly located in the very heart of Zermatt, just a few minutes walk from the Gornergrat railway. The resort itself lies at an altitude of 1620 meters at the foot of the world-renowned Matterhorn and surrounded by an additional 38 majestic peaks. Due to its southerly location, Zermatt shares part of its border with Italy and thus enjoys a mild climate with extended periods of sunshine. Although a beautiful and internationally renowned spot with numerous hotels, restaurants, bars and elegant shops, Zermatt has never lost any of its village charm and both in summer and winter remains an ideal spot for an active, refreshing or relaxing vacation.

Reviews
Fiona Bickmore (Staff)
An extremely popular option in Zermatt. The Mont Cervin offers an excellent and friendly service and the food is really good. Being part of the Seiler hotel group you can eat in any of the other seven Seiler hotels for dinner when you are booked on a half board basis. The spa area is great as well with an indoor/outdoor pool. Zermatt is a fantastic resort and works really well for families.
Katherine Gotla (Staff)
This hotel is one of the oldest in Zermatt located in prime location on the main street. They will meet you at the station in a horse drawn carriage and this sets the scene for the remainder of your stay as you will be looked after exceedingly well. There are great room options for both couples and families with views of the Matterhorn if so required. There are plenty of dining options including the Michelin starred Capri restaurant in the Petit Cervin.
