Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.

It's been a while since I walked into a hotel room and gasped - the interiors of the room here are just beautiful. Contemporary with nods to where you are such as t money print fabrics. The renovations so far are fabulous with the exciting new Crowned Monkey rum bar for pre dinner drinks. Whilst this resort has a brilliant golf course nestled amongst the resort it doesnt feel too golfy which was a preconception I had before visiting. The beachfront is gorgeous, the 3 swimming pools all offer a different vibe and the back drop of the peak is just spectacular. A real hidden gem for families and couples alike - give this a shot, I can't see what is not to charm you about the place!

I loved my stay here at the Four Seasons Nevis, from the moment I arrived at St Kitts airport the Four Seasons service was seamless. Just a short car ride from the airport you will find yourself at Four Seasons private dock where you are met by the Four Seasons private boat with its onboard team ready to offer you cold towels to freshen up and a beverage of your choosing - I of course opted for the customary rum punch! Just a short 35 minute crossing and you will arrive at Four Seasons jetty and will be greeted by staff there who will accompany you straight to your room - no waiting around in reception to check in at this hotel!
I really liked the style of this property it blends in well with it's surroundings, just two storeys in height and with it's wooden outside to the buildings it sits nestled amongst the beautiful lawns and array of palm trees.
I stayed in a downstairs Ocean Side Room and really enjoyed the location as I opened my terrace doors and stepped straight out onto the lawn and a waiting hammock - which was the perfect spot to check my emails from as the rooms wifi worked perfectly! Just 5 more steps and my feet were in the sand. So although these downstairs rooms don't have the ocean view enjoyed from those upstairs they do have great access to the beach and if I was to stay again I would opt for Ocean Side again for sure especially if travelling with children who love to have the outdoor space to run out to.
The breakfast buffets they lay on are superb - I particularly recommend you try the different yogurts they serve daily in little jars, made with the freshest ingredients my favourite was the mango one!
The resort offers a selection of rooms either overlooking the mountain or the ocean, these work well for couples and families as they do interconnect and for those guests wanting more space the Plantation Suite offers a really nice separate living room and can also interconnect with an Ocean room too!
I also visited a number of villas located out on the golf course - these are a great option for families or larger groups and certainly the standard villas they have in the Palm Grove Resort Residence section make a great value option as the prices are comparable to taking a 2 or three rooms in the main hotel. There are several different Private Residence sections so after the basic Palm Grove we have Sunset Hill, Mahogany Hill, Belmont, Stewart and Mango Ridge. The latter two sections are located higher up the hillside and have amazing views and the villas I visited up here really had the wow factor the furnishings were modern and contemporary and uber stylish. These villas of course carry a higher price tag but for a special occasion I think they are well worth a look!
All of the villas are privately owned so vary wildly in their fixtures and fittings so if you're keen to look at villas here do give me call and we can discuss the various styles and one that would suite your personal taste we can then book a specific villa for you.
This hotel is, hands down, the most luxurious, most upscale, most prestigious choice on the island. Even so, discerning travelers have detected a problem or two, especially when conventions dominate or raucous families check in. Located on Nevis's west coast, it's set in a palm grove beside Pinney's Beach, the finest sandy beach on Nevis. On an island known for its small and intimate inns, this low-rise resort built in 1991 stands out as the largest and best-managed hotel, with the most complete sports facilities (including a fabulous golf course) and even the best children's program. Designed in harmony with the surrounding landscape and an intense devotion to the integrity and well-being of the local ecology, the accommodations offer conservative mahogany furniture, touches of marble, carpeting, and wide patios or verandas overlooking the beach, the golf course, or Mount Nevis. Public rooms are rather formal and more than a bit British in their look and appointments, a kind of Belgravia (London) meets the Tropics, with plenty of deep, comfortable sofas and wide-open views of the gardens. Guest rooms are spacious, with generous closet space, full-length mirrors, luxurious upholstery and fabrics, and king-size or double beds. The Alexander Hamilton and the Horatio Nelson suites are filled with antiques and memorabilia of these two figures.
