Best time to Visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit
Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.

I visited this property in October 2014 just prior to its opening and I have to say I fell in love with the whole concept! Belle Mont Farm is the first part of the Kittitian Hill development to open and is bringing something so different to St Kitts and the Caribbean its very exciting!
Kittitian Hill is a sustainable development which will eventually be formed of several different developments offering something for everyone from couples to families and Belle Mont farm is the first phase of this and its location is just breathtaking!
Set on top of the hillside the accommodation offers stunning panoramic views out over the landscape and down to the ocean, you feel so peaceful here. It is the perfect couples retreat offering luxurious suites with the most stunning bathrooms and your own private plunge pools. Set in a beautiful natural environment with the surrounding landscape full of fruit producing trees the property offers an amazing farm to table experience which I was lucky enough to experience as their main restaurant was already up and fully running, the chef uses their own grown fruits and vegetables and of course the local catch of the day to produce an interesting and varied menu which was very enjoyable even as a vegetarian!
I would recommend twinning a stay here with a stay on one of the islands either its sister island of Nevis or possibly one of the other islands such as Antigua to give a really nice contrast combining beach with something a little different!
