Offering warm temperatures throughout the year, the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.

Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France is beautiful French chic hotel set on the most stunning of beaches. I can see why they were fully booked when we went to visit, this is probably my favourite hotel in St Barths.
They have tropical and luscious gardens to walk through to get to some of the rooms, which gives them a private and Caribbean feel. Suites on the beach not only have the breathtaking views of the turquoise sea and white soft sand, but they get a butler too.
The rooms are in white with beautiful French farmhouse amenities with blue and white bed covers to add a little colour. The rooms are lovely and light and airy, you will never want to leave St Barths!
Transfers are complimentary as the airport is only 5 minutes away, should you have a hire car this will be valet parked for you and luggage taken to your room so you really can just stop, unwind and relax in French paradise!
The staff are stupidly good-looking twinkly and elegant, they go so darn well with all the French ticking and the mighty blue backdrop. Ah, Flamands beach is certainly the strip of sand to be on in St Barths: fat and white, unlike everyone who's actually lying on it, who is skinny and conker-brown. Isle de France is owned by the local vicar and, yes, it's very Cabbages & Roses and practically whiffs of sweet peas, but its also a hubbub. Clergyman Charles and his wife Mandie are here, there and everywhere, godparents to a burgeoning St Barths flock; once bitten, you just can't keep away. The new villas with ickle pools and more rooms are fab for families, crisp and fresh. This is low-key Caribbean style in the chicest of the Caribbean hotspots; yes, there's George Clooney snorkelling in the sea, and Jay-Z at the bar, but it's more than that. People may bang on about the Vuitton and D&G stores in town, but actually the island is mostly wonderfully wild, and unkempt in all the right places. Soak up the sun-umbrella scene, with its tink of wine glasses and crack of crayfish. Don't miss the infamous cold pea soup. And bring on the vanilla rum! A Thai massage in the conch-calm spa will help clear the head tomorrow. Meanwhile, there's tennis and waves to jump, empty beaches for mooning about on, and early suppers for littles. Wi-fi is jumpy and slow, just like the rest of the scene.

Just being in St Barths gives you a buzz. This is an incredible island, busy, bustling, chic and oh so beautiful. It's very hilly and so around every corner you can discover a new viewpoint or beach. Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France is tucked away on one of the quieter beaches, yet is still only 10 minutes drive from great shops and restaurants.
The feel here is relaxed French chic. It is exclusive and special. Set on the beach and in gardens behind, there's an array of accommodation to choose from depending on your needs. The prime rooms and suites are on the beach and come with a price tags to match. Rooms and suites in the gardens are great for families and some have their own plunge pools. Furnishings are elegant yet comfortable, the kind that make you want to put your feet up and stay for a while. Cheval Blanc St-Barth
Isle de France will make you feel that way anyway. From the spa with Guerlain treatments to the weekly fashion shows that take place on the pool terrace, right through to the stunning restaurant location, this is a very special place to stay and they will make you feel special too.
