Places to Visit in Singapore
One of our favourite places to go in Singapore is Marina Bay which, with so many nearby attractions, such as the Merlion and Gardens by the Bay, makes it a haven for people-watching. Or, for those wishing to shop till they drop, then Orchard Road is where you want to be headed, with some of the world’s best designers and labels lining the street.
In order to better understand the city’s fusion between old and new, make sure to spend time zig-zagging your way through Chinatown and its maze of narrow roads. Reminiscent of a bygone era, Singapore’s Chinatown offers a wealth of shops and restaurants to uncover, as well as notable shrines and temples of assorted faiths. The island of Sentosa, which is easily accessed by road from the main island of Singapore, is a great place to visit when you’re looking for downtime at the start or end of your Singaporean adventure. This tropical hideaway offers guests sandy beaches, luxurious resorts, or wild theme parks for those who dare.
