Fairmont Kea Lani is situated in the district of Wailea in Southern Maui which is the location of some of Maui's best beaches as well as the island's most exclusive resorts, real estate and shopping. The resort has a Moorish influence with its whitewashed walls, domes, archways and towering lobby set within acres of tropical gardens dotted with palm trees and encompassing lily ponds and a number of swimming pools.

The 413 suites are located in buildings which border the gardens: each has a wide balcony and a spacious separate living room with a Queen sofa-bed ideal for families with smaller children. For bigger parties and those seeking more privacy the 37 and two or three bedrooms villas are the real lure. Each is a two-storey domed structure with a private plunge pool less than thirty seconds walk from the beach.

Polo Beach is a small protected cove of white sand with full beach service and a range of watersports. In the grounds there are two large swimming pools, one which is adult-only and the other a lagoon-style pool ideal for families. Golfers are spoilt for choice in the Wailea area with three championship, 18-hole golf courses at the nearby Wailea Golf Club.

The spa at Kea Lani embraces the influence of the Hawaiian islands offering treatments such as Hawaiian salt scrubs, local seaweed wraps and the Maui Glow. A comprehensive fitness program is available including sunset Pilates & yoga, water aerobics and Cardio Blast.

The Keiki Lani Kid's camp ensures that the little ones are kept busy offering children from 5-11 years a daily program focusing on Hawaiian culture including volcano building, ukulele and hula hula lessons.

Restaurants at the Fairmont Kea Lani range from the award-winning Ko serving dishes inspired by Maui's plantation era, to the casual Polo Beach Grille and Nick's Fishmarket offering the best of the pacific, and for something to go there's the Caffe Ciao Bakery and Deli.
