The Grand Hotel Central, housed in a grand 20th-century building, is elegantly decorated in an urban minimalist style with wooden floors throughout, wrought iron lamps, neoclassical stairways and low-level sleek, dark furniture which is complemented by the muted colour scheme. The 147 bedrooms are contemporary and comfortable and have big windows; most of which face onto Barcelona Cathedral, the Gothic district or the ancient city walls.
The hotel's restaurant, City Restaurant serves a menu of traditional Mediterranean recipes with a contemporary twist, using local produce to deliver innovative and exciting dishes.
