Luang Prabang by Bicycle

The tour begins with the quaint Royal Palace Museum and from here you’ll venture through the quiet back lanes taking in the incredible history of the city. You’ll be able to view the charming architectural gems such as the Huan Chuan Heritage House and the glittering temples Wat Xiengthong Temple and Wat Visoun. Time is also made for the excellent and interesting ‘Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre’, giving an insight into the rich culture of Laos.
In the afternoon, you’ll board a private boat for a short cruise along the Mekong in order to visit Ban Xieng Maen village. From here cycle to the Royal temple of Wat Long Khoun and into the lovely surrounding countryside along quiet unpaved roads in order to visit Ban Chan Village, especially famous for its pottery. To end the day, you’ll re-board your boat to enjoy sunset from the Mekong before finally returning to your hotel for early evening.
