Start the day with a relaxing boat cruise along the Nam Ou river surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery with dense forests, small villages with people fishing, children swimming and Buffalo bathing along the river banks. Along the journey you'll be able to make a stop at Sopkhong village, where you can learn more about the traditional way of life of the Khmu. The village also acts as the start of your trek to Tadmok Waterfall and upon reaching the waterfall you can spend some time relaxing here and even take a short dip before enjoying lunch.
From the waterfall you will head back to the village before continuing to Huay Hoy, another small Khmu Village where you'll be able to explore before jumping back on board your traditional boat and be driven back to Nong Khiaw.
