Between Udaipur and Jodhpur, at the foot of the Aravalli Hills, Suján Jawai Leopard Camp captures the wild beauty of rural Rajasthan in exceptional style. Set amid dramatic granite outcrops, winding riverbeds and silvered scrubland, the camp offers one of India’s most remarkable wildlife experiences, where leopards roam freely and nomadic Rabari herders share the land in harmony.
With just ten luxurious tents, Suján Jawai blends raw wilderness with refined comfort. Each tent is a private haven, its monochrome interiors echoing the landscape outside, with a lounge area, en suite bathroom, and veranda overlooking the hills. Every detail reflects Suján’s signature elegance and commitment to sustainability.
Days unfold at nature’s pace. Morning and evening wilderness drives led by expert naturalists offer the best chance to encounter the region’s elusive leopards, often seen lounging on sun-warmed rocks. The nearby Jawai Bandh reservoir draws a rich diversity of birdlife, from flamingos to eagles, while guided walks reveal the quieter rhythms of the countryside.
Between safaris, unwind by the firepit, visit the Spa Tent for a soothing treatment, or dine under a canopy of stars as traditional Rajasthani flavours meet contemporary finesse.
