Casablanca
Nestled on the Atlantic coast, Casablanca is Morocco’s contemporary hub, with a distinctly European feel. A fascinating history dating back to the 6th century saw the city as a refuge for pirates, a Portuguese colony and eventually under French rule. The city centre is home to beautiful colonial-era buildings, however the main attraction here is undoubtedly the majestic Hassan II Mosque.
