The climate in Alta Badia is a typical alpine microclimate - winters are long and cold and from December to February average temperatures are below zero and night time temperatures can fall to minus 20°C. There are great differences between daytime and night time temperatures. Winters are snowy but approximately 100 days of sunshine between December and March is the norm.

Chalet Zeno is an apartment attached to the Rosa Alpina. Designed and furnished in a contemporary and welcoming style, it is sympathetic to local heritage and the surroundings. It offers independence and privacy, with all the benefits of the hotel service. From the champagne welcome to daily breakfast, afternoon tea and complimentary use of the Spa, guests are thoroughly looked after. Zeno features a spacious living area with a fully equipped kitchen; a grand suite with fantastic views over the mountains; a further suite and a deluxe room, all with en suite bathrooms and balcony. Guests have the choice of eating at the hotel restaurants at lunch or dinner, catering for themselves, or discovering the fantastic selection of restaurants in the village itself.
The Rosa Alpina prides itself on its cuisine, serving a range of traditional Italian and alpine specialities, from the outstanding restaurant St Hubertus with its two Michelin stars, to the Wine Bar & Grill which makes exceptional pizzas in a wood fire oven. The Spa offers a full range of luxurious treatments, complimented by two different wellness areas. The family wellness area has a swimming pool and saunas and welcomes children and the new wellness wing for guests aged 16 and over which has saunas, hammam and an indoor swimming pool with a relaxation area. The perfect place to unwind and indulge your senses after a hard day's skiing.
The Dolomites are situated in the Southern Alps in the north of Italy. The ski domain is known as the Dolomiti Superski and includes 12 valleys, 460 lifts and 760 miles of ski runs with terrain for all levels of ability, all accessible under one ski pass. Apart from downhill skiing the area offers some of the most beautiful settings for those who enjoy cross country skiing, excursions with mountain guides, snow shoeing, ice climbing or simply sledging.
Chalet Zeno is a spacious and beautifully furnished apartment with spectacular views over the mountains. It has a large living area with kitchen facilities, a “Grand suite”, for two people, a second suite for two, with a sofabed and a deluxe room with a French bed (larger than a single). There is an option to put an extra sofabed in the living area. All the rooms are en suite and have a balcony. There is WiFi throughout the apartment.
Children are welcome at the Rosa Alpina. There is a children’s room and an activity programme available at the hotel and babysitting is available on request.
St Hubertus is the hotel's dual Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant and the Wine Bar & Grill is a stylish but informal restaurant, specialising in homemade, authentic pasta dishes, pizzas, salads and local specialities. A rich and healthy breakfast buffet is served at Limonaia. Relaxation is offered in the Spa which has two different wellness areas for either families to use or adults only. The family area has an indoor swimming pool and saunas available and the adults only area is dedicated to guests above 16 years and has an indoor heated swimming pool, relaxation area, gym, saunas and hammam.
A small, intimate restaurant serving cheese and meat fondue as well as chocolate fondue. Ideal after a full day's skiing. Fondues need to be pre-booked before 5pm.
Where breakfast is served with fresh baked breads and pastries in front of panoramic windows. Also offers gluten free products.
With Norbert Niederkofler as head chef this is a 2 Michelin starred restaurant with gourmet dining.
