Kasbah Tamadot is an authentically styled boutique property less than an hour from Marrakech. Dramatically set in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and with stunning views towards Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in north Africa, and a steep lush river valley below, the Kasbah is a walled retreat with peaceful courtyards and landscaped gardens.
Within the Kasbah’s walls, the eighteen individually styled rooms and suites, as well as the common areas, are decorated with an eclectic mix of Arabian, Indian and Far Eastern antiques and artefacts. These have been lovingly collected over time by the Kasbah's former owner, a renowned interior designer and antiques dealer. Located in the gardens are five stunning and spacious Berber Tents, each with its own sun deck and Jacuzzi.
Enjoy the chef's freshly prepared Moroccan and international dishes in one of the bars or in the stunning main restaurant, Kanoun or even on the Kasbah's roof terrace. For romantics, private dining is possible at any of the secluded locations in the Kasbah and its gardens. Ingredients are sourced locally and menus change according to the season. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service levels are as you would expect from one of Sir Richard Branson’s Limited Edition properties.
There is a full range of activities available. During the school holidays the activities available for children are endless and include treasure hunts, mule trekking, Moroccan tea parties, pool parties and getting to know the Kasbah's menagerie of camels, mules and donkeys. For those seeking pampering and relaxation, the Asounfou Spa and Hammam await and offer a genuine world-class retreat with a full range of holistic treatments available for both men and women. There are also two swimming pools, an outdoor horizon pool overlooking the mountains and a stunning indoor oasis of calm.
At Kasbah Tamadot, each room has a descriptive Berber name which tells you something unique about it and all are individually designed and decorated. There are two Superior and seven Deluxe Rooms and there are several categories for the eight suites including a three-bedroom Master suite over two floors with a private swimming pool. All of the suites have either a terrace or balcony. The nine spacious Berber Tents are a unique experience and all have private decks and plunge pools with views out to the Atlas Mountains.
There are three Superior rooms, one looks out over the front courtyard, the other into an interior courtyard and the third forms part of the three bedroom Master Suite and has a large terrace and spectacular views over the Atlas Mountains. The Superior Suites have a sitting area and are more private, they can also accommodate a roll away bed for 1 child. The suites are between 34- 44 square metres.
The tented suites are perched on the hillside with stunning views across the Atlas Mountain range and the valley below. Each tent features a king-size bed, large bathtubs, a terrace, sun loungers and outdoor dining. The tents are 55 square metres in size.

The Master Suite is a miniature version of The Kasbah sitting out on a promontory and featuring three special rooms. Located near the glorious infinity pool the master suite more is ideal for families and features three bedrooms, a terrace and a private swimming pool. The building itself is rich in architectural detail and affords complete privacy. Within there is a Deluxe Room and a Deluxe Suite at the lower level with a private pool, both generously laid out.
