Day 1 - Arrival in Bordeaux
Arrive in Bordeaux and enjoy a seamless private transfer to your accommodation. Settle in and begin to soak up the city’s relaxed elegance and wine rich charm.
Day 2 - Chartrons and Tastes of Bordeaux
Discover Bordeaux from a local perspective with a private driver at your disposal, then explore the Chartrons district on a gourmet walking tour. Wander through a bohemian quarter steeped in wine history, sampling pastries, cheeses, charcuterie and fine local wine along the way.
Day 3 - The Médoc Estates
Set out into the Médoc for a full day of exceptional wine discovery. Visit three distinguished estates, including a Grand Cru Classé and two Cru Bourgeois, and experience the depth, character and prestige of one of Bordeaux’s most celebrated wine regions.
Day 4 - Saint Émilion and its Vineyards
Spend the day in the storybook setting of Saint Émilion, where medieval streets and legendary vineyards create a beautifully atmospheric escape. Enjoy tastings at three wineries, pause for lunch overlooking the vines, and uncover the craftsmanship behind the region’s renowned wines.
Day 5 - Arcachon Bay and Bird Island
Enjoy a day at leisure with your private driver-guide as you head to Arcachon Bay. Admire the belle époque villas, sweeping beaches and the towering Dune du Pilat before continuing by traditional pinasse boat through the calm waters of Bird Island and Lège-Cap Ferret, with oysters and white wine served on board.
Day 6 - Departure from Bordeaux
Enjoy a private transfer to the train station or airport for your onward journey. Leave Bordeaux with memories of elegant vineyards, seaside landscapes and the very best of southwest France.

With moderate winters and summers, this is a perfect place to visit in the Spring, Summer and Autumn. A spring in France provides the right climate for the picturesque green hills with pretty flowers and calm weather. April showers occur on occasion, but it is nothing an umbrella cannot handle. Spring and summer are especially lovely because of the beauty that these seasons bestow upon the French countryside, however, the Autumn months make travel and site seeing very doable - even with the occasional drizzle and chillier conditions in the evenings as the end of the Autumn draws in.
