Esplanade Zagreb feels like a mixture between a city business hotel and an old world grand dame. Built in 1925, this hotel was a popular stop for those traveling from Istanbul to Paris on the orient express. The hotel is next door to the train station and just a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. Esplanade hotel retains many of the original features on the exterior and the interior of this historic building. The lobby is stunning and feels like you are stepping into a 1920s movie. The hotel has one restaurant and one bar, both elegant in their dcor and they offer an outdoor terrace for the sunny summer days. The hotel has 208 rooms and many interconnecting options. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The service was attentive and friendly and this hotel is the place to stay during your time in Zagreb.

The bedrooms at Esplanade Zagreb are spacious and comfortable, and many offer views across the city and its elegant parks.
