Bogota is 8800ft above sea level and therefore the temperature is never too high, although it does receive a lot of rainfall. The best time to visit Bogota is probably during the driest weather (December till March), however, completely good or bad weather is unpredictable. These months receive moderate tourist crowd.
The peak tourist season in Bogota is July and August due to its famous Bogota Carnival (August 5th & 6th). The average high temperature during this time is 19C.
The wet season in Bogota envelops the months of April, May, June and July. Although it can rain any time of the year these months receive the highest amount of rainfall.

La Leo Cocina Mestiza restaurant is a highlight, as is the swish lounge bar, and the pool terrace next to the rooftop heated swimming pool, where the panoramic city views are superb.
