Sable Alley Lodge sits in the northern stretches of the Okavango Delta, just outside the Moremi Game Reserve in the private Khwai concession. Perched on the edge of a lagoon, the lodge boasts incredible views and excellent game viewing in and around camp.

Sable Alley comprises twelve luxury tents, two of which are interconnecting family tents suitable for children aged six years and older. Each tent is raised on wooden platforms and all have their own private deck to enjoy the wonderful views out over the lagoon. The tents are spacious and comfortable with modern interiors and wooden floors, all with ensuite bathrooms at the back of the tent with an indoor and outdoor shower. A stay here offers the perfect escape and the opportunity to reconnect with the natural world.

The main lodge includes a lounge and dinning area but often meals are served al fresco under the stars or even out in the bush. In between activities, an inviting pool offers the perfect place to relax and cool off, escaping the mid day heat while still enjoying views of the lagoon and open plains beyond. Each evening guests are invited to share their wildlife encounters around the camp fire, while sampling delicious home cooked treats and pre dinner drinks.

The 440,000 acre Khwai game reserve is one of the best wildlife areas in the Delta. With a diverse mix of habitats and rich vegetation from opens flood plains, rivers and riverine woodlands, the reserve attracts a wealth of big game and wildlife including lion, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo as well as plenty of plains game including sable antelope.

With expert guides guests can enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives from the comfort of a 4x4 safari vehicle. Night drives are also a great opportunity to see nocturnal species including serval, caracal, African wild cat. Exploring the Delta by mokoro (a traditional dug out canoe), offers the chance to meander through the waterways and discover the wonderful bird life or sit back and watch as big game comes down to the water to drink. While game viewing is excellent all year round, mokoro safaris are seasonal and depend on high water levels.
