Northern Territory

The Northern Territory is the most sparsely populated part of Australia, comprised of vast open plains that are dry, dusty and red in hue at centre of Australia, stretching north to the coastal waters of the Top End where the climate is more tropical than desert-like. Uluru (Ayers Rock) is one the area’s most famous attractions, and there are important aboriginal cultural sites to visit, too.
