Average time to visit
Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.

Cap Juluca is set on the most incredible beach I think Ive ever seen in the Caribbean. It just goes on and on, the softest powder white sand, turquoise water, just amazing. If you love a beach, its hard to beat this.
The hotel itself is set right along the beach with Moorish style buildings housing the suites and villas. The hotel has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme and as a result the main areas have been delightfully upgraded and new soft furnishings have been added to the rooms. However, this is still not an ultra luxurious property. The location is key and the accommodation is clean, comfortable and very spacious with almost direct beach access. Little mod cons such as flat screen TVs, BOSE Sound systems and Molton Brown goodies have been added but the real reason guests stay at Cap Juluca is the beach.
I really liked the hotel, it has a nice feel and an amazing location. Its good for families if you dont need a childrens club, as they are warmly welcomed. Its also a great honeymoon spot as the island beyond is filled with beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants.
