Our chefs

We don't let just anyone loose in a Scott Dunn chalet kitchen. Our chefs are highly trained, passionate about cooking, and use only the finest local ingredients.

Many people think that far up in the mountains it's hard to be hugely creative with food. But as some of our top chefs explain, all you need is a passion for food, some imagination and a love of the amazing local ingredients on offer. In fact, they reveal that in our four core ski resorts, there's a wealth of incredible local fare to incorporate into their carefully crafted chalet menus, from rich, tasty cheeses to the finest smoked and fresh meats.

Rob Executive Chef

Rob is our Executive Chef. Traveling and experiencing the food of many countries has influenced his food style. Setting down his backpack for some time in Sydney he worked in the famous harbor-front restaurant Quay. His love of food, travel and snowsports brought Rob to the Alps many years ago.

Menus by Ping Coombes

We are excited about our new culinary partnership with 2014 Masterchef Champion, Ping Coombes. Ping has designed recipes exclusively for Scott Dunn guests and they will be expertly prepared by our own team of highly trained chefs and nannies. Ping's menus will be served to Scott Dunn villa and chalet guests as well as in our Scott Dunn Explorers kids clubs.
