Visit the port town of Mazara del Vallo where the largest fishing fleet in Italy is located before entering Trapani Province.
Famous for the landing of Garibaldi in the 1800s and Marsala wine the architecturally fascinating town of Marsala is well worth a visit, as is the Island of Mozia and Trapani itself where you can witness the mystical salt flats of the area.
