Adler Mountain Lodge is a magical hideaway on one of Europe’s largest plateaux - the Seiser Alm. At 5,900 feet above sea level it commands unparalleled views of Italy’s Dolomite mountain range, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the jagged edges of the Langkofel peak. Perched this high there's nowhere better to watch the "enrosadira" - the color of the mountains changing at dawn and dusk. Even arriving here is special. Set in the middle of the piste between Ortisei and Alpe di Siusi, it's within walking distance of the lift station, or if you arrive by car, you'll need a special permit.
Imagination and passion have gone into the building of this 30 room lodge, and with its 12 private chalets, it offers a unique alpine experience. Architecturally, it stands proud in its surroundings, blending nature and sophistication. Built from local spruce and larch, they blend into their surroundings, with the chalets looking like old traditional Tyrolean mountain huts, furnished with Scandinavian designer furniture and soft fur throws. The main lodge features the 18 beautifully designed suites, a panoramic restaurant, a luxurious spa and one of the most incredible heated outdoor infinity pools we've seen, with the stand-alone chalets surrounding it.
Attention to detail and charming Tyrolean hospitality are abound, whilst no stone has been left unturned when it comes to dining. Start the day with a delicious traditional Alpine breakfast at the restaurant; feast on a la carte dishes on the terrace for lunch and enjoy creative regional cuisine at dinner in the restaurant, where specialties include meadow herb omelettes and hay roasted lamb. And when you're not skiing or taking in the views, try the Alpine Spa for a truly memorable pampering session.
In the heart of the Alpe di Siusi, skiing from the Adler Mountain Lodge gives you direct access to the Sella Ronda and the Dolomiti Superski - some of the best terrain in the Alps. The region has an excellent snow record, slopes for all abilities and a modern lift infrastructure. Together with the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings and innumerable good value mountain restaurants serving exceptional quality food, it's hard to beat.
Adler Mountain Lodge is also the perfect escape for a summer break in the picturesque Dolomites.
