Phum Baitang, which means 'Green Village' in Khmer is one of Siem Reap's most luxurious and elegant hideaways, with just 45 spacious stilted villas that are wrapped in luminous greenery and finished with high quality interiors.

Like most Zannier properties, Phum Baitang oozes elegant and design led style with a real focus on food and service. The property, which only opened in the summer of 2015, sits within acres of verdant gardens and paddy fields and is deeply inspired by Cambodian architecture. Located just 10 minutes from the from the majesty of Angkor Wat, it's not only beautiful but also incredibly well located.
There are 45 private stilted villas in total; inspired by traditional Khmer houses these are beautifully decorated with earthy tones, dark wooden floors, and light flowing linens. They feel calming and slightly homespun but at the same time are incredibly indulgent. This is most definitely pared back luxury at its best.
Aside from the beautiful rooms, the property also boasts some fantastic dining options. Choose from traditional Cambodian flavors in Bay Phsar, with food and design influenced by traditional Cambodian markets or Hang Bay, that showcases fantastic fusion and world cuisine. Here you'll find fresh seafood and high quality steaks. Afterwards, the cigar and cocktail lounge beckons you in for an after dinner drink with views out over the fields.
To allow you some time off, Phum Baitang boasts a temple inspired spa, a yoga pavilion, fitness room, infinity pool, sauna and steam room as well as an impressive kids' club. All designed so that you can fully indulge in some down time.
Despite being incredibly spoiling, Phum Baitang pays homage to Cambodia's heritage and history, which we love. It's ideal for couples and families that want a peaceful and luxurious retreat just a short journey from the magnificent temples of Angkor.
