Start with a drink at Asana - a old wooden house in the town center, starter is at Mahob - Located in a cozy garden setting surrounded by trees, flowers and a lotus pond away from the hustle and bustle of the town, mahob means food in Khmer and a great place to start this culinary evening
Your next stop will be at The Sugar Palm, run by the renowned Chef Kathana. The focus here is on authentic local dishes, with many recipes passed down from Chef Kathana's mother and grandmother. Many believe Chef Kathana' Fish Amok (a classic Cambodian curry) to be the best in the country, and she has acted as a consultant for both Gordon Ramsay and Luke Nguyen when they came to Cambodia to film cookery shows.
Your final stop of the evening will be at Malis. This restaurant's specialty is also Khmer cuisine, served in a modern and sleek setting. Master Chef Luu Meng has worked overseas and in some of the most prestigious hotels in Cambodia. He is recognized as a champion of Cambodian cuisine, using fantastic fresh produce and delicate flavors.
Please note that the tour includes one dish per person at each restaurant (sharing is encouraged!). Complimentary drinking water is also included, but any other drinks will need to be purchased locally.
