Day trip to Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge

Begin your Slovenian tour at the beautiful Lake Bled, where the emerald green waters are surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Julian Alps. Walk around this breathtaking lake before travelling across the water in a pletna - a unique rowboat - to explore the church on the lake's tiny island. Continue on to Bled Castle, perched on a clifftop offering fantastic views across the lake and the surrounding mountains.

After lunch by the water, enjoy horse-drawn carriage ride to the nearby Vintgar Gorge, an impressive gorge home to a series of waterfalls, caves and cascades. Follow the wooden walkways above the clear water of the Radovna River as it winds its way through the cliff face.
