Yellowstone National Park Safari - Lower Loop

Sprawling across volcanic plateaus in the northwest corner of Wyoming, Yellowstone contains more than two million acres of crystalline lakes, thundering waterfalls, panoramic vistas and steaming geysers, including Old Faithful who provides a real show. Yellowstone has a remarkable diversity of wildlife, but to see it all guests require more than a day in the park due to its sheer size. On a typical day trip you can expect to see bison, antelope, birds such as eagles and black bears if you're lucky. You can expect to cover the 'lower loop' of the park with an early 7am start and you will be back in Jackson Hole after sunset where you can drive back through the Grand Teton park to spot wildlife at prime time, dusk.
A guided tour will help you make the most of your day, particularly in the busy summer months, taking you off the normal beaten path and to prime viewing spots for attractions like Grand Prismatic. If you go on your own, be sure to take some snacks and beverages with you or arrange a picnic basket for your trip. The weather is constantly changing in the park, so be sure to pack layers and a jacket.
