La Fiermontina Ocean enjoys a fabulous setting on Morocco’s west coast just north of Larache, a stunning coastline yet to be discovered by mainstream tourism. Facing the rolling Atlantic Ocean, the property sits within Le Dune of Khemis Sahel Regional Park, a landscape of gentle hills and silky sand dunes. There’s a strong emphasis on responsible travel and sustainability, with the resort encompassing several local villages, Dchier, Tcharouah and Mezgalef. Through investment in the area, the property benefits the wider community, and provides guests with the opportunity for local interactive and meaningful cultural experiences.

Known for stylish hotels and warm hospitality in Italy and France, La Fiermontina Ocean reflects the heritage of the family team who conceived it and is full of both Moroccan charm and Italian flair. Guests can choose to stay in one of 4 traditional stone houses, 11 luxury Pool Suites or 2 Family Pool Villas. The stone houses offer the chance to live within the local community and are beautifully renovated and styled with antique doors, Berber rugs, traditional Moroccan furnishings and locally woven textiles. Sleeping between 2 and 4 guests, each includes a furnished patio with fabulous views and modern conveniences including climate control, coffee machine and fridge.

Alternatively, guests can choose contemporary Italian design embellished with Moroccan accents in the tastefully chic Pool Suites. Choose from one or two bedrooms and enjoy indoor/outdoor living with a furnished terrace and private pool. The generously sized Family Villas include dedicated staff, kitchen, large living room and three ensuite bedrooms, while the interiors feature vintage sofas and lamps from the 1950s and 70s. Outside the spacious terraces include infinity pools and glorious views.

Guests can immerse themselves in the local cuisine with breakfast in the village around a Moroccan-style table laden with honey pastries, fresh eggs, amlou (almond and argan oil spread) and bissara (bean soup). There is a private Beach Club serving delicious seafood, sandwiches, and salads for lunch, often created from organic produce grown by the team. During the evening, choose from Italian and Moroccan cuisine at the Ocean Restaurant, or head to Café Maure for an unforgettable evening of local food and music in a romantic setting. Private sunset picnics and romantic dinners can be arranged in-villa or just steps from the ocean.

For added relaxation, the resort includes a traditional hammam, massage, tailor-made treatments, yoga and meditation sessions. There is also plenty of scope for the more active. Along with the Beach Club, there’s a range of water sports to enjoy including surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and bodyboarding. Guests can also enjoy horse riding, guided trekking to the local villages and Italian home cooking classes.
