The rainy season on the Kenyan Coast is generally during May and June. So from July onward the weather is gradually getting hotter and dryer until March/April when it reaches the high 90's (over 40 degrees C). Christmas/New Year is generally considered the peak season and the weather is lovely then with constant sunshine and gentle off shore breezes. If you want clear seas for diving then make your trip after August/Sept.

My stay Almanara was wonderful, the staff were very attentive. Sitting on my balcony soaking up the view of the pristine white sand and the turquoise Indian Ocean was dreamy after a long flight.
After a busy afternoon relaxing on the hotels private area of the beach I was very spoilt and had the most incredible massage by the hotels very talented masseuse.
It is great to have a choice of dinning options at the hotel as you can chose to eat on the terrace at the hotel and they also have their restaraunt 'Sails' which is down by the beach, so I loved having dinner listening to the waves lapping on the beach.
The rooms and suites at Almanara Boutique Hotel are vast and very comfortable and all the rooms are sea facing. They have cleverly put darkened glass on the windows for privacy when you are in your room.
