The Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel has been run by the Bernardi family for over eighty years, and guests here are guaranteed a genuine and exceptionally warm welcome - something that the South Tyrol is famous for. The first five star hotel in Ortisei, it soon after became a member of Relais & Châteaux and is deservedly renowned for its hospitality, superb food and an incredible Spa.
The hotel, with its typical Tyrolean architecture, stands prominently in large gardens underneath the jagged peaks of the surrounding Dolomites. Ortisei is the largest village in Val Gardena, and from here, guests can explore the South Tyrol region, and marvel at the incredible scenery that has given this area UNESCO World Heritage status. The Gardena Grödnerhof is ideally located for exploring the mountains in the summer, guests can ascend to Alpe di Suisi via the closest cable car. Other sports such as E-biking, via ferrata, golf and horse riding are all possible locally. Families will enjoy the Adventure Park Col de Flam which is situated near the gondola station of Seceda just above Ortesei, an exciting experience for the whole family.

Often known as Selva or Val Gardena, this area is made of three villages: Selva, Santa Cristina and Ortisei. Hotel Gardena is located in the centre of Ortisei.
