Adler Mountain Lodge is an alpine haven, it is clear to see the imagination and passion that have gone into the building of this 30 room lodge and its 12 private chalets.
A magical hideaway the Adler Mountain Lodge has extraordinary views and is located on one of Europe’s largest plateau - the Seiser Alm or Alpe di Siusi as it's often known. At 5,900 feet above sea level it commands unparalleled views of Italy’s Dolomite mountain range, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the jagged edges of the Langkofel peak. At this altitude there's nowhere better to watch the "enrosadira" - the colour of the mountains changing at dawn and dusk. Even arriving here is special. Set in the middle between Ortisei and Alpe di Siusi, it's within walking distance of the lift station, or if you arrive by car, you'll need a special permit.
Architecturally it blends nature and sophistication and is built from local spruce and larch, blending into the surroundings. The chalets look like old traditional Tyrolean mountain huts, furnished with Scandinavian designer furniture and soft fur throws. The main lodge features the 18 beautifully designed suites, a panoramic restaurant, a luxurious spa and one of the most incredible heated outdoor infinity pools we've seen, with the stand-alone chalets surrounding it.
Attention to detail and charming Tyrolean hospitality are abound, whilst no stone has been left unturned when it comes to dining. Start the day with a delicious traditional Alpine breakfast at the restaurant; feast on a la carte dishes on the terrace for lunch and enjoy creative regional cuisine at dinner in the restaurant, where specialities include meadow herb omelettes and hay roasted lamb. And when you're not enjoying the outdoors or taking in the views, try the Alpine Spa for a truly memorable pampering session.
Being located high on an alpine plateau means that there are a huge number of walks and hiking options directly from Adler Mountain Lodge. A variety of different activities are organised on a daily basis which guests can choose to participate in according to their interests.
Adler Mountain Lodge is also amazing in winter with some of the best skiing in the Alps.
