The museum stands on Luxor's corniche, in the central part of the city. Among others, the museum exhibits excellent antiquities artefacts collected from King Tutankhamun, well-preserved statues that were once buried in the Luxor Temple, and the Royal Mummy display of Pharaoh Amose I and Pharaoh Ramesses I.
