Cambodia is hot all year round and the best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from November to April. It starts to get wetter in May and the wettest months are September and October. It is still possible to visit during this time as rain usually falls as short sharp storms. November is a fantastic month to visit Cambodia as it is very green after the rainy season and the lakes and rivers are full of water.

Feeling refreshed from your flight head out to explore the beauty of Angkor Wat and Siem Reap, both offering an abundance of things to do. We recommend taking to the air to soak up the iconic site of Angkor Wat. The helicopter flight heads off just after sunrise, or just before sunset, meaning you see the temple in its best light. If you would prefer to treat yourself to a private flight, you can do this at any time of day, taking in Cambodia's most iconic site from an entirely new angle. You can also have a fully immersive experience with your very own private yoga session at at one of the more remote and secluded temples of Angkor, the perfect zen moment on your travels and the perfect way to start the day. Head into Siem Reap, and with your private guide explore the up and coming galleries and boutiques that pepper the streets here. If you’re interested in art, textiles and shopping then this is for you. Visit the quirky mix of art studios, atelier and galleries overflowing with artisan products, experience the luxurious 100% fine hand-woven silk scarves from renowned American weaver and textile expert Carol Cassidy at Weaves of Cambodia. Take some time out to see some of the charitable work that has been helping Cambodia’s most vulnerable people with a guided tour of Charitable Cambodia. With your expert guide you will move around the town learning about the country’s artistic heritage, aspiring artists, landmine effort and the Angkor Hospital for children and how that is all helping.

Phnom Penh
For your next leg you will head further south the capital Phnom Penh, home to the art deco Central Market and glittering Royal Palace.
Rosewood Phnom Penh brings ultimate luxury to this charming city, at 39 storeys high, currently the tallest hotel in town, and in the first skyscraper, offering remarkable views and all in walking distance of Central Market and seeking out the buzzing bars and eateries in town. A lovely touch is the added bonus of the complimentary tuk-tuks to take you around. Indulge at Sense, a Rosewood Spa or take a swim in the 72 foot long indoor swimming pool, located on the 33rd floor. Time to head out and devour the delicious cuisine that Phnom Penh is famed for, the Taste of Mekong experience is perfect for foodies, wanting to get a true taste of Khmer traditions. Spend the morning exploring one of Phnom Penh's best food markets and learning about Khmer cuisine from the incredible Chef Nak. She will guide you through one of Phnom Penh's best food markets, describing the different ingredients, their uses and nutritional value. You'll also have the chance to view and assist with her cooking demonstration before sampling the delicious plates that you have helped create. As the morning comes to an end, you'll have some time to relax as you travel back to Phnom Penh by boat cruising by small islands and traditional fishing families on their house boats.
As the sun sets see Phnom Penh burst into life with energy and vibrancy with a dine around tuk tuk food tour. Begin with sundowners at the city's highest restaurant to watch the sun set beyond the city’s skyline, you’ll then be whisked away by tuk-tuk to hidden restaurants tucked along Phnom Penh’s charming alleys. End the evening on the riverfront with a coffee and dessert at one of the city’s night hotspots, or perhaps continue the exploration of Phnom Penh’s nightlife from the back of your tuk-tuk. A fun and mesmerising experience to embrace local life and palate tingling food.
