Visit to the Spanish Riding School
The Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Austria, is one of the city's most popular tourist attractions. Located in the Hofburg Palace, you can see the horses perform as well as attend a public viewing of some training sessions.
Formal dressage performances at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna take place several times a week, and it's also possible, at 10 am almost every day, to attend morning exercise of the famed stallions.
These world famous horses, originally from Spain, are schooled in the Winter Riding School of the Hofburg Palace. During their morning exercise they practice the choreographed steps which will be executed that evening, inclding jumps, and movements such as pirouettes, passages and piaffes, accompanied by Austrian classical music.
