Spirit of Belimbing

Awake early to make the most of the day. Your tour will depart at around 8am. Journey along country roads to the remote area of Belimbing, famous for its glistening rice terraces before arriving at the starting point for your trek.

Tea and coffee await you along with some sweet cookies in preparation for your trek. The walk is not ardous, you will pass through coffee and chocolate plantations and up and down the rice terraces whilst your guide points out the various fruits and vegetables along the way.

Your end point will be the sacred Benben Waterfall where you can bathe in the waters, cleansing away any evil spirits. Following this in the afternoon you will have time to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local resort before continuing with your exploration.

Around 4pm, enjoy getting dressed into the national dress of Bali and travel to one of Belimbing's ancient Hindu temples in the jungle. Encounter sacred monkeys, and watch as the priest performs a offering to the gods before returning back to your hotel. You will depart the temple around 5pm.

Please note that to reach this experience from Ubud you will need to drive 2.5 hours in one direction, 5 hours round trip.
