Day 1 - Farewell Harbor Lodge
On your first day at Farewell Harbor, you'll arrive at the lodge by water taxi from Alder Bay. After a welcome orientation and lunch, you'll head off by boat in search of marine wildlife on the Johnson Strait.

On arrival at Farewell Harbor Lodge, staff will meet you at the dock and you will check in, before you receive a welcome orientation and lunch. After lunch, join an afternoon tour in search of marine wildlife in the waters of the famous Johnstone Strait and Robson Bight Ecological Reserve. Return to the lodge late afternoon in time for a buffet dinner at around 6pm, followed by next day activity briefing. Feel free to join an evening presentation, often on local ecology, wildlife or first-nations culture, at 7pm.
