In the morning you will be picked up from Hito Cajon, the border between Chile and Bolivia, to begin your adventure across the impressive altiplanic scenery of southern Bolivia. Pass through the Eduardo Avaroa National Park where you will find unique flora and fauna species which have adapted over time to the harsh conditions of this high altitude region.

You will stop at Laguna Verde and its emerald waters, its vibrant color due to the high magnesium content. Enjoy views over the lake to surrounding volcanoes before heading on to observe the intense volcanic geysers of Sol de Mañana. Reaching up to 100m in height, the geysers are a spectacular display of the impressive nature in the area. Your final stop will be the Laguna Colorada, a multi-colored lagoon home to hundreds of flamingos, as well as llamas and vicuñas.

Continue on to Jirira, a 3 1/2 hours drive from Uyuni, tucking into a box lunch on route and settling in to your deluxe camper on arrival. Enjoy dinner and cocktails under the clear night sky and marvel at the millions of stars overhead.

For Uyuni please remember to bring layers and a very good jacket. Also the sun is really bright so bring plenty of sun screen, hat for the sun and for the night in Uyuni, sunglasses, trekking shoes and gloves. Lately the lowest temperatures are at night or early morning and Uyuni will be the coldest, hotels have heating and the airstreams also have electric blankets.
