Please note: Please bring swimwear, a towel, hat and sunscreen. Snorkel equipment will be provided on the day.
Board your custom-built sailing catamaran before setting sail for the Mackay and Undine Cays in the Outer Barrier Reef, following the coastline with magnificent views of the Daintree mountains.
Arrive at your first reef site of the day where the crew will give a snorkel safety briefing and you will receive your snorkel equipment. Swim and snorkel over the spectacular coral gardens of this protected cay, or follow Sailaway’s marine biologist on an informative guided snorkel tour.
Back on board, enjoy a tropical buffet lunch as you gaze out across the Coral Sea.
At the second reef site of the day, you can continue your snorkeling or take a glass bottom boat tour with reef interpretation with an expert guide. Alternatively, transfer across to the coral cay to discover its white sandy beaches and coconut palms, or simply laze on deck.
Afternoon tea and coffee will be served with a selection of cakes and fresh fruit platter as you set sail for Port Douglas. Listen to a reef interpretation talk as you make your way, and share your incredible underwater sightings with the crew and other guests.
